Sorry, I should have clarified. I DO have a voltage reducer going to the wire that comes into the dash to power it (by gas volt guage I think). I have not tried double clutching as that thought was in the back of my mind but I never really understood how to do it. Thanks for the explanation!

All shifter bushings are brand new as well as the l shape bracket/part that connects to the transmission.
