Saving OLD chrome-rusty back side. Grills, bumpers, ect always seem to have a POOR backside on chrome parts. This '34 PU grill was chromed in the '70's, brazed bottom edge, BUT the show surface is still good.
So it got wire brushed , cleaned off, and some derust magic applied. After drying; Sprayed with a good coat of bright silver enamel. REMEMBER to tape the holes before any of this is applied!!, even brushed into the open gill bars. I hope this grill lasts another 50yrs. I remember we always opened the grill bars [crimped shut] before working on a Ford grill. Drying in front of the stove. [Winter] Photo Newc
