From everything I've ever heard, the advance mechanism on the good ole' "LoadoMatic" is specifically designed for a single carb, associated vacuum signal and a stock engine.

The vacuum signal that it will see with your new manifold and carb setup will undoubtedly be different than stock. Will it run . . . sure . . . will it have the correct advance/retard curve . . . common flathead knowledge says "No!".

Yes, there will be "somebody" who says they made it work - but did they compare it to an alternative with mechanical advance or a converted SBC distributor?

I'd sure think about a different distributor if it was mine . . .
