If you just want a cheap tire, look into implement tires. The three rib tires for tractors would look funky on there and implement tires are about the same price but have more ribs so they aren't as obvious.

6 X 16 are pretty wide for a Model A. You will likely be looking for some 19" model A wheels at some point.

I run my 1956 Ford 850 tractor front tires tubeless but I have to use the tire sealant to keep them holding air. If the car has old Ford steely type wheels, they can leak at a rivet now and then but will generally hold air without a tube for a while anyway.
