The hi cost associated with the 57 T Bird dizzys is the fact that they are a "tach drive" dizzy.
Can you live without the factory tachometer? A non tach dizzy would be the "bare minium" as you hinted at!
Pricing for the 57 non - tach dizzys are around $100.00.
As Todd mentions be prepared to fork out a minium of $350.00 for a tach drive dizzy- and even at that price it may need to be rebuilt.
I can give you all the numbers of what to look for if you tell me your preferences of tach or no tach drive.
