@ Rob Doe. Thanks for the advice. I checked the Air adjustment screw by marking the tip with a black marker and it seems that it's the correct size and fit. I will check the throttle plate and will replace it anyway when I insert the bushings. Thanks for the explanation of the set up of your carburetor ... make sense.

@ katy: Thanks for the tip. I will visit my local hardware store tomorrow to look for 1/4" bushings. Would you recommend to replace both bushings or just the lever side? do I have to drill slightly under or would you recommend to glue then in with epoxy?
