There is a website that sells (among other things) trailer hitches. I have bought other things from them in the past with no problem. Some of the hitches listed indicate the maximum towing weight and tongue weight. For example, one specifies a weight capacity of 2000 lbs and tongue weight of 200 lbs. (You will probably have to convert that to kilos for Germany). Below is the text for one of the hitches on the website:
