Is "boing" a tech term?? Maybe you can explain in more detail what is happening. Did you rebuild the shift mechanism? Is the transmission jumping out of gear?
Do NOT use 600 in your transmission. You can use 0-0 in the U-joint housing about 6 OZ. The U-joint does need lubrication, but it does not get it through the rear bearing. You can add lube through the speedometer turtle by removing from the torque tube.
