Not much time recently to get after getting the 39’ back on the road . But this morning was able to install the replacement Firewall Pad permanently. After many test fits.
Having a Ford 39’ hot water heater added a bit of work. Replacement Pad had knockout for hot exhaust heat , but none for hot water heat. Old Pad was so wore out, no way to get measurements off it.
New Pad being thick ABS there was no way to come from cowl towards dash with a Awl. But now it done.
