Yeah, my car has the D/A fuel pump on it, even though the wiper motor is electric. The vacuum is blocked off on the fuel pump.
But my fuel pump is kaputz...so I was trying to source a new pump, and i notice that 1959/1960 seem to be an oddball year for 312 parts for some reason.
I'm thinking in 1959 you could get the vacuum or electric wiper motor, but not sure. Maybe electric wiper motor was a buy-up. Still doesn't explain why Carter and other places don't show the 1955-1958 or 1960 pumps as interchangeable with 1959/1960 Montereys. Seems odd unless something in the motor changed in 1959. You would have to know if you needed S/A or D/A pump (depending on the wiper motor on the car).
