I was surprised to find out just how much the stock Ford fuel pump puts out. Charlie did my carbs and fuel pump for me and now have a fuel regulator with gauge. I had to adjust the pressure as the pump was putting out almost 4lbs. Set it back to about 2- 2 1/2 and it runs perfect. I was told for many years don't worry about the pressure as the old pump does not put out much, well guess they really do! My 2 cents for the day, listen to Charlie and Ken they will give you great advice....
