Same problem. Getting just too hard to get down and up from a creeper.
Just bought and installed an Advantage lift about three months ago. Quality is good. Welds seemed good, and paint is good. I have been very pleased with it so far.
Two of my friends helped (or I should say I helped two of my friends) install it in a day. Built it outside and rolled it in on it's rollers.
Look at the install video.
Instruction manual is OK, but had a few head scratching errors.
I lifted my 1955 Chrysler Imperial with no problem.. Slow (as all the four posts are), but fast lowering.
I would not hesitate to buy another Advantage four post again.
