Default Engine Fan Repair

I have a question about the feasability of repairing the engine fan. In cleaning parts removed from the old engine I found that the fan had corrosion on the inside surface of one of the blades. After removing the rust I found that the blade itself is hollow. I thought of repairing it with JB Weld but I have some concern about balance (The damaged area is about 1 '' X 1/4 ''). Not being familiar with the Model A engine I am wondering if balance would be a significant concern.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts/help

Bob
