Re: Air fuel meter
I have an "Innovate" on my engine test stand. Since I only have headers with short extensions, I have a "sniffer tube" that clamps to to the end of the exhaust extension. In my application it seems to work OK, since the distance from the engine is reasonable. While a "sniffer tube" can be utilized with some effectiveness in the tailpipe of an assembled car, it is not an ideal installation.
I intend to install regular bungs in the different header extensions one of these days, but since the current setup seems to work, I've been putting it off.
The "Innovate" sensor seems to be a quality unit.
