I made my own Mirror Assembly that attaches to the shaft of the Cowl Lights that goes thru the body, made it up of Stainless steel 3/8 ths SS Rod and a piece of SS plate, that I shaped and drilled a hole for the Cowl Lamp shaft cut a slot in the end of the SS rod and put the plate in the end, SS Rod welded after grinding both the SS rod and the Plate, gave the rod a bend to suit the mirror out from the Body, they work fine, a bit of vibration so put a small piece of rubber foam against the Cowl Lamp to steady the mirror work well, hope you can follow my Description ...
