I was able to move the hole in the backing plate down about 1-1/4 " and drill a new hole for the lower bolt on the bracket. I will have to make the upper half of the bracket larger to cover the the larger hole in the backing plate and have a place for the upper bolt. It turned out really nice and level and parallel to the radius rod.
I took pictures but I can't post them. Bill
