A 9 inch rear end from a 57-72 Ford 1/2 ton pickup is a direct bolt in. Find one with 3.00 to 3.50 gears. Wheel bolt pattern is the same also. I've done several this way.

Edit; I am assuming you have an F-1....same info applies for F-2, F- 3....just use a 3/4 ton rear instead.
