Our 33 ,as Tubman says pull our caravan all over Australia,(look at some of my posts)
It did that for some 1000,of klms with a stock 33 babbit main engine no drama, caravan weighs 760Kgs empty , has electric trailer brakes,
Now has a 99a engine with 4in scatt crank .040 over bore, stock 33 camshaft and inlet manifold and 97 carb, 3.78 rear gears, this has towed the caravan out to Ayers Rock and back, runs all day at 95Kph towing for days on end.
Stock transmission case with a 46 guts in.
will go way over 70 mph no drama.
What was the rear end ratio in your car.
