Same problem on 41 hood was up on one side at cowel. Easy fix with the hood open. Loosen the two bolts holding the hinge to the fender. Loosen one bolt holding hinge to the fender above the kick panel inside the car. Now carefully pry the hinge up. Mine only moved less than 1/8" and problem solved. Sits perfect now. I put a heavy rag on the fender and used a 2x4 for leverage and small crow bar to lift the hinge.
