The other weekend when I thought I fixed the issue but found my alternator bad the volt meter on the car read high but at idle it when back to 12 but then when I did a check on the system it wasn't charging at all. I thought about the points and everything but if it wasn't charging on my multimeter I don't think it was charging for awhile. My meter on the car is still the original with the wire running through it
