Never tried it on an original clock but it seems that just grounding the clock case to one side of the battery and hot side to original battery connection should work.


Did a test on a pulse wound original clock using a 9 volt battery for power.
The clock did function normally for 1 hour until disconnected.
BUT, what would be the purpose of running the original clock using a 9 volt battery when the car battery is available to power it?
