I once bought a Model A hood from the Sherriff of Altus,OK. It had been shot full of holes on both sides with a Thompson .45. On the good side, the holes had explosive charges in them with wires coming out on the inside. The outside was puttied and painted. The car had been used in a movie and the opposite side charges had already been set off in sequence to replicate being hit by sub machine gun fire.
