Thanks for the help gang. Yes, mostly looking to get some highway mileage out of the upgrade. AOD is probably the route to take.

The car is actually an Edsel (my brothers). Yes, a very rare '60 Edsel wagon, and a hole in the floor really isn't an option. To all the purist, I promise ALL changes made to the car can be easily reversed and brought back to stock.
