If you are going to use the roller method, tightly stretch a piece of screen fabric across the raised area first and hold it in place with tape. Lightly load the roller with paint and lightly roll it across the raised area. The screen will keep the roller from pressing down too hard on the edges and you will have a neat edge. Lift the screen straight up right after painting.
