That is correct, however I have one in a 29 Canadian sedan which is painted black with a grip which seems to be of some sort of base metal and no chrome. Also the seam on the shaft is not as obvious as the one in my photo. Looking for any comments from any one who may have that type of brake shaft to compare notes. Thanks
