Re: Engine won't start when it's Hot.
Update: We spent the better part of this afternoon trouble shooting the ign. ignition system. With the help of "EBBSPEED" (post#39) who volunteered his services when I called for help. When it comes to electrical gremlin's in these ole cars this gentleman is the go too guy.! He has the expertise and equipment. We were able to sort out the system and found that we do have "fire" at the plug. Now what.? This took us to the fuel system. (See post#12 for a description of what it consists off) Even with all of the above "new equipment" we are not getting enough fuel when we need it, so now we need to sort out this system, one piece at a time. Several areas have already been addressed, and we will continue to look for more.
Our Thanks to "Ford Barn" and all of the reply's and suggestions. This is why we participate in these forum's. We're never to old to learn, and share our knowledge and experiences with these 'Ole Fords'.
We have a full schedule for this summer driving season and are anxious to get this 40' back on the road.
