I've had this problem recently;
Somehow the spring is not perfectly vertical.and sits forward

I had to Jack the frame off the front spring , connect the wishbone ball ,
and lower the frame down close to the spring and push the spring under the
crossmember, then push the spring back with a 2x4 or a bar till its under the crossmember and then lower the frame on to the spring
