In addition to the transmission being a poor candidate for use in a car, so are the clutch and pressure plate. The clutch/presser plate are too large a diameter for car use, unless you were building it to pull stumps in a field. The larger diameter clutch reduces performance (acceleration) and requires increased leg pressure to use.

I would guess it would take less than a minute of attempting to drive one to convince you how bad of an idea it would be!
