Kling's used to make an adaptor for such fan use to early V8 pump. He told me this year, that he hasn't made such adaptors for years now...'not enough demand' to justify making them.

I have three different alum adaptors to mix/match various pumps to application, so am aware of those. Also , have good early V8 pumps that I'd like to use....but have to have that adaptor !
I'm not sure if the pulley is one of the special ones or if it's a 36 type
with the 4 threaded boss's for the fan to mount on. I'll take a look and
get a few pictures if I can. ALL 36 type impellers are not the same,
there is the truck type with a little larger impeller and the most used
type with little nubbins for impellers. Then there is Skips 36 type
impeller with large longer streamlined blades. There are flat surfaces
on front of the stock impellers that block and disturb the flow where
Skips impeller is tapered to improve the flow. Stock 36 pumps deliver
55 gallons in 5 minutes and Skips 36 pump delivers 92 gallons. This
makes a big difference in cooling. I did this conversion 30 years ago
and don't remember. I have a complete machine shop and may have
bored and keyed a stock 36 pulley to fit?? G.M.
