Do not carry any cash or credit cards in your wallet, your drivers seat does a CAT scan every time you set in it and relays the info to the rest of the car. The repairs/towing/etc. will be almost exactly 3 times what you are carrying. My longest trip was Hollywood from NE Iowa with a 2 week old rebuild on engine. Alternator died 30 miles from home, but I was younger and a lot more naive so it was all ok.
