Steve: If you desire 100% correct high quality restoration standards follow Kube's photos when he posts them. I have attached the way I did it back in 1978. It is not 100% correct since I used velcro to adhere the cardboard piece with the welting to the wood shelf piece and I did not fasten the "flap" that moves in and out when you adjust your seat because I didn't want to have to "untack it" if I ever needed to remove the entire seat. My "flap" material from the front seat backrest covers the hinges and just lays loosely over the top of the cardboard piece with the welting. I had to unbolt my seat last week to work on the transmission easily and took these photos just now. This is in no way an attempt to usurp Mr. Kubarth as I respect him as the professional 40 Ford restorer who is "the master". I am an amateur and also look forward to seeing his photos. I don't think that pebble grain pebble grain vinyl that comes with the LB kit is an authentic reproduction. Mike will know for sure.
