The late 49 through early 51 Mercury mount pads are different and use different larger diameter hardware plus they use them on the transmission too for the ones up through the early 51. The early 1949 stuff was he most oddball stuff made. There may be someone making those front ones now but they had to be rebuilt for a long time. 8M-6038 and 8M-6039 are the part numbers.
