Hey Dennis, a little more info if you would.

Is your car still 6v?
Is the buzzer 6v or 12v?
How about a pic of the paperwork that came with the buzzer, or at least a link to the paperwork.
Have you tried to hook the buzzer across your battery? And if so, did it work? with which wires used?
Need more info.
