Default Re: Flatheads and Ford Barn - Really should read.

I personally prefer early Ford V8's with original Ford bodies, early flatheads and original, or near original, drivetrains and of course hydraulic brakes. My
preference runs from 1932-1934's, but that is just me. I am not against stock
originals, own one myself, but my other cars are not original, but are as per above, and are "early hotrods." I have been on the Barn for many years, and
was under the impression that it was intended for original or early flathead-powered hot rods. I never noticed anything that said it was ONLY for original
Fords???

I have also been on the HAMB, but do not spend much time there BECAUSE it
is "cluttered up" with later-model Fords and other brands that I have no interest in, but I am not against; just not for me. Too many posts to wade through...

I would enjoy a site that covers early Ford vintage hotrods (NOT street
rods with late/crate running gear, reproduction frames/bodies, none of which
I am interested in...) but which could also cover ORIGINAL cars, since the kind
of vintage hotrods that I prefer are not that far removed from an original. I always thought the Ford Barn was THAT site... is it not???
