As long as we're on this thread, how about the 1939 taupe floor mats that sell for between $135 and $150 and don't fit worth a damn. The mat opening for the floor shift is much to small (and the wrong shape) to fit over the shift tower. This requires major cutting and triming to fit properly. The pedal openings require trimming to fit without tearing the mat. I've talked to people at both Carpenter's and Drake's with the same result....... " there must be something wrong the your car" or "they must fit, the're from original molds".
