One engine number is CAD1744. Am I correct in thinking that it was made mid Sept. 1931?
CAS9846 looks like late May 1931?
CA129333 ?????
A 32 Model B engine with bell housing number CBG2283.

Hi Jim
CAD series was the last & there were 6877 engines, from June 2nd& finished in Feb. '32.
I have recently seen a CAD 4314 which would be very late but difficult to know when. Cars were slow selling during 1931 & without an original registration receipt [ all cars here used to have one that stayed with the car until Big Brother arrived] hard to know.
All the other Canadian series were in batches of 10K. CAS 9846 would be end of May '31. The CA engines went from Feb '28 to end of Aug. '29. which was CA 150,000. With these engines you are approx. guessing when they were stamped. During peak production during '29 it appears it was about 3 months until they went into a chassis.
I do not know much about the '32 B engines, but Ford Garage has the best info.
Cheers.
