heres what i know from experience:

4200K is the yellowish glow of incandescent 60w light bulbs in a house - ya know the normal hue for the last 100+ years

4700K is pretty much pure white, sometimes called daylight - doesnt look very daylight to me but WILL BE YOUR BRIGHTEST BULBS.

you go higher than 5000K its going to get more and more blue tinted till 10000K is straight purple.

lower than 4200K is getting more and more yellow till straight yellow like bug lights.
