I use a three inch diameter "SYRINGE" to put 600W into the rear end. I have used the same one for about thirty years, always leaving fluid in it. I can't see why someone would think the rubber would swell up and become more worthless than our ALEMITE GREASE GUNS that have been working for over eighty years with grease left in them.
