Randy's post above ("It's better to keep your mouth closed and appear to be an idiot than to open it and remove all doubt!!") reminds me of another old saying:
Wise men talk because they have something to say. Fools talk because they have to say something. Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn.
