WE need more info! Has the car been running detergent or non-detergent in the past? Is this a new car to you and the first time you have changed the oil ? What did the previous owner Use for oil? If it has been running on non-detergent and you want to switch to detergent, have you cleaned out the dipper tray in the oil pan and the bottom of the pan? Also a good idea to clean out the valley behind the valve cover. You are going to get every kind of oil made today as THE only oil to use. It is your choice and decision as which one to use.
