Yeah, it's a 59A rather than an actual `39 engine. The `39 engine left in the 1960's. Still have to deal with whatever is causing the problem! What part of Alabama? That's where this car came from.

Don't know of any, but I have one that came out of my `39 Deluxe. It needs a refurb job but there are plenty who'll do that for you.

`39 Headlight Switch Housing Bail clip

I'm looking for the wire bail clip for the headlight switch for a `39 Deluxe. Several places sell the housing but not the wire bail that secures it to the steering box.

Dick: Very helpful! I have a `39 Deluxe with the same problem minus some of the parts. I've noticed that Dennis Carpenter doesn't have the switch "box" and C&G doesn't have the bail. By any chance...
