Re: Removing Oil pan on a `39
I was born in Selma and grew up in Winston County until I went to college. The only thing you mention that I haven't yet done is unbolt the wishbone. How much hassle is that, and how easy is it to...

Re: Removing Oil pan on a `39
Yeah, it's a 59A rather than an actual `39 engine. The `39 engine left in the 1960's. Still have to deal with whatever is causing the problem! What part of Alabama? That's where this car came from.

Removing Oil pan on a `39
Howdy: Any hot tips on removing the oil pan on a `39 while it's still on the car? I've got an oil leak that appears to be from the rear main and I'd rather fight a pack of wild dogs than pull the...

Re: 1939 Ford Glove Box door question
Don't know of any, but I have one that came out of my `39 Deluxe. It needs a refurb job but there are plenty who'll do that for you.

`39 Headlight Switch Housing Bail clip
I'm looking for the wire bail clip for the headlight switch for a `39 Deluxe. Several places sell the housing but not the wire bail that secures it to the steering box.
Thanks in advance!

Re: 39 std headlight switch and wiring
Dick: Very helpful! I have a `39 Deluxe with the same problem minus some of the parts. I've noticed that Dennis Carpenter doesn't have the switch "box" and C&G doesn't have the bail. By any chance...
