Yes, but that is for setting the timing with the two scales. Good post like Van Pelt has on his site. I'm after a reasonable way to get as accurate as I can for the gaps and dwell.

I used a lower voltage due to the drop when I'm starting up with the foot mounted starter switch, no solenoid.


Even so 13.6v X 6a = 81.6 watts

You may be able to pull the pan by rotating the motor. Either #1 or#5 rod bearing caps may be causing the hangup.


Firing order is 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2

For a Left Hand Drive, LHD; turning the steering wheel CW rotates the Pitman arm CCW which pulls the drag link forward, turning the wheels to the right.

1932 original ratio is 13:1.
Early '33s also had 13:1 but were then changed to 15:1 for the balance of the '33s and '34s. The 15:1 worm and sector pair fit perfectly in the '32 boxes.

Yes with a dual reservoir system, you could do the left front first and for the rear whichever line is longest.

Regarding brake bleeding, you should always start with the wheel that has the longest run of brake tubing to it, not the fronts as you mentioned.
