check to make sure that your motor mounts are good also the trans mount on the tail stock of the transmission.

I got the info from the FORD Passenger Car CHASSis PARTS AND ACCESORIES CATALOG 1949-1952 ITS a great book to have .

The parts book states that the Cable Ass'y for the 49-51 convertible coupe is 127 1/4 inch long part #8A-2275-D hope this helps.

I forgot to say since its an overdrive you have to disconnect the wires for the solenoid and governor make sure to make where the wire go it Very important to grt them back where they belong also...

I don"t know of any but its not real hard take the 4bolts out of the rear ujoint on the rear end and pull the driveshaft out of the back of the trans make sure u drain oil first . Then disconnect...

MY 50 Ford did the same thing its the Bendix getting jammed agents the flywheel take the starter out and clean the Bendix and check for any loose bolts then reinstall the starter

SHERIDAN BLUE - COLONY part #M-14285 for 49-52 and for 49-50 it was BAYVIEWBLUE METALLIC- BIMINI BLUE part #...

When I painted my 50 I took the part # of the paint and the paint shop and they matched it from that so the part # for the 49 is called texture gray (interior ) #M14308 and the 50 is grey...

I use cinnamon stented pine cone that you can get near Christmas . Don't have any mouse problems and it makes the car smell good.
