That makes sense. Like "Kleenex" and "Kotex". That is likely where I got the notion that all ahooga horns were "klaxon".

Nope, that's not it. actually I had never related the submarine alarm with an ahoogah horn until it was mentioned here. Seems silly that I missed it now though..... DUH. Makes me wonder why a klaxon...
