I think where the confusion here is is the fact that the vacuum advance for the Load o Matic DOES NOT function like a standard vacuum advance distributor. Yes, you are pulling vacuum like that Holley...

That's what I was always told too.....unless you're running the original 2 bbl it's not working properly with the Load o matic.

Mine also cranked and ran 'out of the box'. Should be getting plenty of fuel. Have you checked the float settings?

Probably has about as much to do with the format as anything. Maybe the interest was there before but finding the format uncomfortable it wasn't used.....much like some of the 'old Barners' not being...

(also, at this point, the registration process could get a little sticky...wouldn't there...
