Re: 29 Tudor rear rubber mat question

For the 1930-31's, the rear seat was shortened by approx. 2" to give the impression that more area was provided than the previous Tudors. Ford actually stated the New Tudor was roomier than the...

Re: Lets see those 180 A Deluxe Phaetons

Very interesting to hear of your A's John.
Probably Argentina received the most Deluxe Phaetons , they were a wealthy market pre War [ they were a huge primary product supplier to Gt Britain] until...

Re: 29 Tudor rear rubber mat question

No. I have an original rear mat in my Tudor& it lies flat & is located by brass studs on the metal floor railings. You would have to probably punch holes in the repro mat. The front edge of the mat...

Re: Right hand drive frame?

All the Canadian chassis here in NZ, & I believe all made in Canada were drilled for both LHD & RHD until sometime in late '30 when they were only for RHD or LHD depending on destination.
I would...

Re: Original photos of 31 roadster seats and seat back?

Try & get a look at '" Ford Model A as Henry Built It " by DeAngelis, Francis & Henry which has factory photos of the pleats on roadster seats.
Also there is a good Factory photo of an interior of...

Re: What is the hardest Model A accessory to find

The fender lamps really look sharp, but I have never seen any on a car. Other than the UK which required them as John has said, the big market that used them was Argentina which may be a source. But...

1923 Canadian Tudor

Owned by a friend, this car has not been road legal for about 57...

Re: Need Photos and Suggestions

Take off the door panel & put them in. The cars were designed for easy LHD & RHD conversion & metal should be punched out on your passenger door. Many cars now have locking handle on the drivers...

Re: Has anyone seen original hubcaps?

Probably not. I looked at many Model A's here from late '60's & nearly all had missing hubcaps or were badly dented & scraped. Caps were just pried off or holding tabs snapped off easily. Looked...
