Starter sticking

Once in a while my starter sticks. The copper starter switch "welds" to the copper button on the starter. I'd there any way to prevent that.

what is the cp (brightness rating) of a standard model a tail,stop, & turn bulb? is there a brighter one available? i seem to be have trouble turning left without being passed even though i have...

no lights, no horn. question the business end of the harness is a round disc with 9 terminals. those terminals are in 3 groups of three looking at the back side it looks like each set is tied...

Ok, but how do I measure output? My ammeter shows discharge when lites are on, but doesn't measure charge when lites are off.
