rear spring

The main leaf in my rear spring is broke. It"s for a coup which has 8 leaves. I have a spare spring with 10 leaves, do I switch the bottom main leaf or do I take two leaves out of the spare spring...

Having problem getting crankshaft pulley off of 39 ford truck engine. The pulley is loose and rattles but there is a collar in front of the pulley that is tight that I'm having trouble getting off.

I have a 35 ford with a 59AB engine and a 12 volt alternator. I want to put a fan on the alternator and remove the elec. fan that is now in front of the radiator. All suggestions will be appreciated.

CRITTER OUT has worked good for me. Smells like peppermint and is not that expensive. 1 qt makes 2 1/2 gal. lay newspaper on floor or seat and put long strips of cloth on the paper and spray....
