If you take off the belt, take wire Aoff and touch to B the generator should turn( called motoring), this will do 2 things, first it will polarize...

of course if you use sealant on both sides of the gasket you will need a new gasket every time you take it apart and have a bit of work to get the gasket/glue off the surfaces
