Re: 1931 Roadster Rumble Seat Panel Brace?

My 31 is original. Those braces are wood. Looks like oak, but might be ash. 1/4 inch thick. 1 1/4 wide.

Re: How much evaporation from gas tank is normal?

Gas gauge is a possible culprit. Replace the gaskets. That fix solved my 'evaporation' problem.

Re: Need Advice On Painting My Steering Wheel

Don't paint it! I used soap and water and a light scrubbing with one of those green scrubby pads. Rinse. Towel dry and wait a day to be sure the wheel is really dry. Light application of black...

Re: Led Tail lights

I'm enough of a traditionalist that I was reluctant to change to the LEDs. Had a very close call, saw how bright the LEDs were on another car in my club, and made the change.

Used the same...

Pls don't go dark just because of a couple of snappy answers. Thought the seat belt thread you started was important after that terrible crash in Texas. I read all the pros and cons and...

Wow, love your clear side curtains! I'm too far into making my semi-traditional version to turn back, but now wish I had thought to make a set like yours.
Thanks for photos. ...

Mitch // pa,

What is "tire soap"? Special product? Or plain old dish soap and water?
